Mocking Mohammed... and remember, we're laughing at him, not with him....
All the so-called Arab outrage over the Danish cartoons satirizing Mohammed is a good example of how self-loathing and life-hating they are. If they had any real honor or intelligence something like this would be ignored at best. I think it is great to see the faith of submission depicted for what it is -- a cult of death-worshipping wannabe Nazis who are so impotent they have to kill themselves in an attempt to attack that which they fear most -- Reason and Reality.
If you want to see what all the fuss is about in regards to the images of Mohammed you should start out by knowing that reading this page can get you killed so please look over your shoulder before clicking on the link to the images.
The images of Mohammed are at this link: http://www.zombietime.com/mohammed_image_archive/ or you can click on the title of this post to goto the same link. Some of them, down near the bottom of the page especially are hilarious!
To add to the fervor, here is my Rushdie meets Letterman style attempt to jump on the "satirize Mohammed" bandwagon.
The top ten reasons the Arabs should renounce Islam:
10. Could divorce 3 of of 4 wives and STOP committing suicide.
9. Could take buddies out to drink using stolen U.N. oil-for-food money.
8. Would never have to get carpet fibers from low-quality prayer rugs stuck in hair, eyes, nose and throat again.
7. Could stop violent protests against the idea that Islam isn't peaceful.
6. Could finally stop idolizing a rock, turn it into a bunch of small paper weights and sell them on eBay.
5. Less chance of being trampled while on a religious pilgrimage.
4. Less time chanting Koran... more time playing XBox!
3. Could enjoy BBQ pork ribs for the first time!
2. Would finally realize there is more to life than, uh... death.
1. Could turn in head-severing swords and audition for the next American Idol show!
Welcome to civilzation morons.

You said it Joe. Is everyone as fed up with Islam and Muslims as I am??? How come every picture you see of them is of them with hoods over their faces while they are holding AK47's? The religion and the culture can only be considered insane!
By the way, love the pics of Pearl Harbor. I visited the Arizona when I was there a few years ago, and a friend of mine was the last commander of the nuclear sub Robert E. Lee. His name is Dan Greeson and he works with the U of H underwater team that finally located the missing Japanese sub that was sunk by one of our battleships early in the morning of December 7, 1941. It still had both torpedoes attached.
Great blog, I'll check in often.
One of the purposes of my blog is to honor our military personnel. See my entry regarding the grave of a young Navy sailor.

Joe, great blog and sentiments. Loved the pics of Pearl Harbor.
I visited the Arizona when I was there a few years ago. A friend of mine, Dan Greeson, was the last commander of the nuclear sub, Robert E. Lee. He works with the U of Hawaii underwater team that found the Japanese mini-sub that was sunk by our battleship early on December 7, 1941. The sub still has both torpedoes attached.
My blog, Rightwing Rock and Rant, has as one of its major purposes giving support to our military personnel. See my recent entry there about my visit to the grave of a young sailor who died in 1969.
I will check back often. Keep blogging and Godspeed.

A few random thoughts from your cousin, the Jarhead:
"5000 people rallied in North Waziristan, Pakistan: "'Islam is being defamed through such cartoons. It is a terrorist act,' said provincial chief minister Akram Durrani, who led the rally. 'Those responsible for publishing such cartoons must be punished under international law.'"
[Apparently, flying hijacked airliners into skyscrapers, strapping high explosives onto suicide bombers, detonating roadside bombs, and burning embassies and diplomatic missions to the ground are not terrorist acts, whereas printing a few cartoons is.]
"The Islamists in Pakistan directed their anger against the United States even though the cartoons have not been published in U.S. papers and the United States criticized their publication. 'We are condemning America because it is patronizing those who printed the cartoons,' said cleric Mohammad Sadiq."
[Sure, why not? Americans are getting used to the idea that all the world's problems are a direct extension of something Americans have done right or something Americans have done wrong. As a result, I suppose we ought to just keep on patronizing. Anyway, it seems that some scattered newspapers in the U.S. just couldn't resist the temptation to further antagonize Muslim extremists...]
"Ukraine became the latest country where papers published the cartoons, joining Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, New Zealand, Poland, the United States, Japan, Norway, Malaysia, Australia, Jordan and Yemen."
[So, with all these "deserving targets" what is the correct response to the defaming of the Prophet? Of COURSE, how silly of me. How about Iranian protesters throwing stones at the Austrian Embassy, breaking windows and starting small fires? Why not? After all, Austria holds the presidency of the European Union. Certainly, THEY must have demanded those cartoons to be printed by all those aforementioned nations, particularly Bulgaria, Switzerland, Hungary, New Zealand, the United States, Japan, Norway, Malaysia, Australia, Jordan and Yemen. But, I'd bet Austria had EVERYTHING to do with Bulgaria's involvement. After all, Bulgaria may become a member of the EU next year. And the Swiss? You bet! Oh, those deviously cunning militant Swiss - just can't trust 'em. The Vatican City has been under Swiss military occupation for ages, though one would think the Swiss government would consider issuing them more modern uniforms - and maybe firearms instead of polearms. So, yeah, I'd say the Iranians made the right choice, there, and have shown the world that they are responsible enough to be allowed to continue pursuing their plans to develop nuclear weapons. Heck, the U.S. is bound to have a few spare warheads lying about in some old warehouse in Monkeypaw Arizona - let's just give the Iranians a few so if Mexico prints those cartoons, Iran can just nuke the Costa Rican embassy...]
"Lebanon apologized to Denmark — where the cartoons were first published — a day after protesters set fire to a building housing the Danish mission in Beirut. The attack 'harmed Lebanon's reputation and its civilized image,' Lebanese Information Minister Ghazi Aridi said."
[Some small hope that sanity might prevail, and that from a very unexpected source. Good for them. The apology should do much to show that the Lebanese government is capable of intelligent thought, even when their angry mobs are not. Still, it's hard to deny that international tensions are building to the point that World War III is looking more and more a possibility, perhaps an inevitability, and that won't be worthwhile for anyone. My, such a cheerful thought to start the day...]
Joe, I changed the name of my blog to Saber Point as it is easier to remember. See my essay today about the prophet Mohammed and what he was really all about.
Hah, great post!
Thanks,Stogie, Doc, and Kevin...
Great feedback. I've been getting a bunch of comments on the "Islam = Stupid loser" post as well. Many are from muslims, and some are repetitive and stupid so I remove them when I find them.
Keep thinking, keep fighting.
Peace,
JK
