Reflections on my second tour in Iraq...

"...It is a strange place to be. The insurgents, terrorists, bad guys, whatever you want to call them are mostly killing their own people. It's difficult to understand. We in the United States don't kill each other because of religious or tribal reasons. We don't blow ourselves up just to take out a few people we disagree with. There are those who are still fighting against us, the Americans, but they are mostly the Al Quaeda transplants that come from Iran, Pakistan, Syria, etc. The average Iraqi is very tired of this war..."
